10 Point Acceptable Behaviour Guide 


  • Sit down immediately and remain in your seat for the whole journey.

  • Do not throw objects inside or out of the bus. Do not eat or drink on the bus.

  • You must use socially acceptable language and behaviour. Speak quietly and do not distract the driver.

  • It is an offence to smoke within a confined public space. This includes home to school vehicles.

  • Do not harass, bully or abuse other passengers or the driver in any way, whether verbal or physical.

  • Respect the vehicle and do not interfere with it in any way.

  • Respect other’s property and do not interfere with it in any way.

  • Listen to, and follow the requirements/instructions of the driver and the teacher/s on duty.

  • Do not engage in any behaviour that could put yourself or others at risk.

  • A Passenger’s pass is their permit to travel on the home to school provision. Passes should be shown to the driver on boarding and available for inspection when required.


Students who choose to behave in an unsafe and/or unacceptable manner risk losing their place on the home to shool transport service.
